Roland M. Schrebler practices in the fields of estate and corporate planning, estate and trust administration and taxation. His experience ranges from providing estate planning services to young couples and widows to designing sophisticated estate planning strategies for high wealth families incorporating a variety of trusts and business entities. Servicing multiple generations of a family and allowing younger generations to share in the benefit of assets and business ventures is a particular focus. In addition Roland has settled several high value estate tax audit matters as well as U.S. Income tax appeals and tax court cases.
Roland attended the University of Massachusetts and Albert Ludwigs University in Freiburg, Germany and received B.A. degrees in German and Political Science, cum laude, in 1987. He attended Washington College of Law, American University where he was senior survey editor of the Administrative Law Journal and received his law degree in 1991. Mr. Schrebler also received a Masters of Law in Taxation from Georgetown University Law Center in 1995. Mr. Schrebler is a member of the Maryland State Bar. He is also on the Board of Directors of the Baltimore Estate Planning Council and Glenwood Recreation Club, Inc. Mr. Schrebler lectures frequently on the topics of estate planning, estate and gift taxation, charitable planning, exercising stock options and estate and trust administration. Mr. Schrebler is fluent in German.
After over 20 years of private practice with law firms in Bethesda and Baltimore, Mr. Schrebler opened Roland M. Schrebler, LLC in May of 2014. He continues to represents clients throughout Maryland from his Chevy Chase and Pikesville offices.
